Hello and welcome to our weekly A38 Traffic Management Bulletin.

Due to recent bad weather, we’ve identified areas of the carriageway along the A38 southbound which have deteriorated over the last two months and are now in urgent need of repair. We have a resurfacing scheme (southbound) planned here due for delivery in 2025, but we need to complete the repairs in advance to ensure we provide a safer road throughout.

To complete our work safely, we’ll close the A38 southbound overnight between Branston and Swinfen on 13 December, 14 December, 15 December, 16 December, 17 December and 18 December, 9pm to 6am.

We apologise for the short notice and inconvenience this may cause, please plan ahead and allow additional time for your journey.
